We are excited that you are interested in Griffins Boxing Club! Since at Griffins, we are granting you access to our training space, you have many options once you gain access to the facility. We have Five main options for your training, either with our technical boxing classes, the Glove System©, boxing for fitness, the High Cardio, Boxing Boot Camp, Open Gym and of course, Personal Training with fully certified coaches for your boxing or fitness goals.
Based off our revolutionary and award winning Glove System©. The Glove System© is a tiered form of learning the “sweet science” of boxing. You will start out with White Gloves© and work your way up the levels finally reaching Black Gloves©. You will start off learning the fundamentals boxing, footwork, punches, and some combinations, and will progress to inside fighting, ring-man-ship and counter techniques. This program is for Youth, Women and Men.
Intensive cardio, boxing workout. Each class is different from the other so even though you are getting a full body workout each time, every workout is a little bit different thus keeping your body guessing and you from getting bored. The Cardio classes integrate boxing with other cardio exercises and circuit training. It is a hands-on fitness class, with a coach motivating you every grueling step of the way. This class is for beginners and intermediate (experts, please see Cardio Blitz) Women and Men 16 years and older.
Our 6am option! You thought getting up was tough? Now add it to a challenging and fun “wake you up to start your day” workout. Each class is one hour from 6am-7am and is lead full time by a coach. Boot camp is an intensive class focusing on cardio, conditioning and strength. Whether you are in shape or wanting to get in shape, this is a fantastic female and male total body workout.
This program is not part of your “Access Programs” but is a service that we provide to the general public (no membership required) and has been rated as one of the “hardest” and “most effective” workouts in the industry. Now does this mean this is for athlete’s only, NO! Although we do train high level athletes in many areas of sport (boxing is an amazing cross train for most things) we also have coaches for beginners who want to get fit, lose inches and lose weight to the “I want to have a change to my existing workout regime” type of person. As it sounds, use the gym, use the weights, hop on the treadmill or hit a bag (no kicking bags!). All we ask is that you put your gear away after you use it…please!
