Their hard work and incredible dedication is so inspiring, I have trained the majority of these guys since the age of 9 and to see them grow into great people is super amazing. When I started training them my goal was to have at least 1 get drafted but 6, never would have imagined it. Your Questions, Answered.

Can I access the gym for a trial before signing up?

Yes! You can try one class prior to becoming a member for the cost of a drop in. If you sign up within 7 days of this trial, we will discount this drop in amount from your Registration. Please click on the 'Try a Class' located at the top of the webpage and one of our front desk associates will contact you to book your class.

How many people are in a class?

Because we offer multiple classes a day, 7 days a week, class numbers change everyday. An average cardio class will have 15-20 students and a tech class will have around 15-20 students. We do our best to maintain a 1:10 coach to student ratio. - See more at: http://www.griffinsboxing.com/faqs/#sthash.gHxcqaTX.dpuf

Can I just do drop-ins?

Yes, once you are a member of Griffins, you can just do single drop-ins or you may purchase a book of 10 to use over 3 months.

Why aren’t your prices on your website/ what are your prices?

We do not include our prices on the website because we encourage you to talk to one of our staff to find the best deal for your personal fitness goals and needs. We are NOT a pressure sales club, we do not have 3 year contracts and we will not hound you and call you at 7pm on a Sunday…we do, however, want you to talk to a real person and we do want to know what your goals are for wanting to join Griffins. If you would like to talk to a member of Griffins about this, please contact us at 604-980-1900 or email us at info@griffinsboxing.com.

Is the Glove System® full contact? / What if I don’t want any contact?

There are 6 levels in our Glove System. The first 3 levels: White, Yellow, and Green are non-contact. Once you reach the 4th level, Blue, if you choose to, you can start conditional sparring upon completion of your Boxing BC Registration and Medical forms. All of our BOXFIT programming is non-contact.

What styles do you teach? Do you teach MMA?

Boxing, and only Boxing! We do not go for the fads and expand to all avenues of all disciplines because we believe that in order to be good, and we mean real good, at something, you must specialize in it. With that said, do we train MMA-ists…that depends; currently, we train a handful of champions in the octagon, teaching and honing their hands and punching power. But, we DO NOT teach take-downs or “ground and pound”. Because we stay true to our sport, all these guys have full respect for us and the sweet science.

How do I get access?

To get access to Griffins, give us a call at 604-980-1900, email us at info@griffinsboxing.com, or stop by the gym and we can get you up and boxing in minutes!
